Phase 2

Selective Nutrition

Phase 2 helps you to lose weight from your fat deposits. This process occurs when you eat almost no carbohydrates. Your body goes into ketosis; fat is "burned off" but lean tissue is preserved so that you don't have muscle wasting. This phase offers a slimming effect without lean mass reduction.

You preserve your lean tissue (muscles) because you are eating high quality proteins – plus essential micronutrients. Ketosis is an alternative "physiological state" for the body and it needs to be limited and carefully managed by you and our professional diet counsellors. It is essential during Phase 2 that you only eat the proteins we recommend in our food section. If you do not follow this strict diet plan you will not have the results you would expect or deserve.

You need to keep in touch with us during this phase, and attend the London based clinic if required. Before commencing phase 2 we will take you through a Medical Online Health Assessment (MOHAS™). Honesty is crucial for the best results. You will be eating a minimum of 3 eurodiet™ products per day on Phase 2, these are designed with exactly the right balance of protein, vitamins, minerals and polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA's).

While you are on this phase you can continue with your usual sport of physical activity, but it is probably best to avoid any exercise that is too strenuous, just for the first few weeks. If you want to begin an exercise regime, it is best to start gently and build up gradually.
