Dr Adam Collins
Dr Adam Collins completed a BSc (Hons) in Nutrition and Biochemistry before successfully completing an MSc in Nutrition and Metabolism at Aberdeen University. Dr Adam then went on to complete a PhD in Nutrition, concentrating on nutritional assessment in health and disease. During this time he investigated the monitoring of metabolic rate and body composition (body fatness) during weight loss.
Through this experience and practice, Dr Adam brings to eurodiet™ a wealth of knowledge of the very latest techniques in review and assessment of individuals undergoing weight loss programmes. This will ensure every patient's progress is monitored and recorded and ultimately their optimum health and success.With Dr Adam's help and guidance, eurodiet™ clinics will have state-of-the-art technology and equipment to monitor blood pressure and cardiac health, blood glucose, blood lipids (i.e. cholesterol), body composition (i.e. the proportions of fat, muscle and water in the body), metabolic age and rate together with the planned introduction of 3D body imaging equipment.
